1- Wheels Foundation’s Support and Development for Local Cyclists in 2024
Wheels Foundation participated in numerous initiatives and challenges in 2024, varying from sponsorship to organization. All aim to support and develop local cyclists in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Here are the most notable participants:
Darraj Sharqiyah Association Initiative:
“Breath, Health, Balance, Happiness, and Freedom” this the slogan of the cyclists in the Darraj Sharqiyah Association. This initiative aims to promote the culture of cycling and raise awareness among individuals suffering from obesity about the importance of exercise. It collaborates with health centers to develop treatment plans for a better lifestyle. In 2024, Wheels Foundation worked to provide support and sponsorship for this initiative, aiming to achieve the primary goal of “The impact continues.”
Jeddah Cyclists Association Initiative
The main achievement for Wheels in 2024 is the sponsorship and prizes it presented to cyclists in the Jeddah Cyclists Association initiative, which aims to educate and empower youth through the Participation Bikes Project. This project means providing bikes in public places with an IOT (Internet of Things) system, which has been used to discover the talents of young men and women and boost their love for cycling.

Aseer Tour 8:
Sponsored by Wheels, the Aseer Tour 8 began in June. The tour covered 500 km across 5 stages, with more than 60 cyclists participating from both within and outside the Kingdom.
National Day Celebration:
Aligning with the National Day slogan “We Dream, We Achieve”, the Saudi Cycling Federation organized several events and celebrations, sponsored by Wheels Bikes, for cycling adventures and lovers.
The National Day events were diverse, which included exciting mountain bike races amidst the stunning nature of the kingdom’s cities, as well as cycling parades. Riyadh, Khobar, Jeddah, Al Jubail, and Dammam all hosted National Day celebrations, with huge crowds of pro and amateur cyclists.
Triathlon Race for Children in Saudi Arabia:
Sponsored by Wheels and organized by Triathlon Academy for Kids in collaboration with the Saudi Triathlon Federation and Race Arabia, the first Triathlon race for children in Saudi Arabia was launched. The race brought together 120 participants from over 20 nationalities, to support and encourage The younger generation to engage in cycling sports.
Gulf Elite Duathlon:
The Gulf Elite Duathlon is the final event that Wheels concluded in 2024. With a challenging spirit, Wheels participated in this event by providing complete bike maintenance service to ensure optimal performance during and after the race.
2- Wheels Foundation’s Celebration of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr
During Ramadan 2024 and Eid al-Fitr, several challenges and activities were organized to motivate cyclists to continue cycling during the holy month. Notable activities included:
- The Jubail Rider Challenge in Ramadan.
- Ramadan Iftar with Wheels Foundation and the cyclists.
- Eid al-Fitr celebration with Wheels Foundation and Riyadh Cycling Club
3- Wheels Foundation Workshops and Lectures 2024
In 2024, the achievements of the Foundation went beyond events and competitions; it played a significant role in organizing workshops and lectures for cyclists. The year began with the lecture “My Life Balance in Ramadan.” During Ramadan, organized by Drajj and sponsored by Wheels, a lecture titled “My Life Balance in Ramadan” was held to raise awareness among cyclists on how to utilize the holy month for cycling practice and manage their time while fasting.
This was followed by the “Public Health for Cyclists and Fitness Improvement” workshop. Wheels Foundation, aiming to strengthen health and maintain physical fitness during cycling activities, presented a workshop focusing on fitness improvement and general health for cyclists.
