This year, Saudi Arabia celebrates the National Day anniversary on September 23rd of the unification of the Hejaz, Nejd, and its parts in the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On September 23rd of each year, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince celebrate this solemn anniversary—the anniversary of King Abdulaziz Al Saud’s unification of the country and his issuance of a royal decree unifying the Kingdom.

On September 23, 1932, King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud issued a royal decree changing the name of the Kingdom of Hejaz, Najd, to the Saudi Arabia Kingdom.

Since that date, the Saudi people celebrate this anniversary in all Saudi cities every year by holding many events and celebrations in public places, parks, shopping centers, and other Saudi National Day celebrations that always express gratitude for their country and leadership.

National Day Ride by Darraj

It will be on Saturday, September 23. The Wheels Foundation sponsors this event with a ride starting from the Wheels Store in Dammam at 5 AM. and a celebration after the ride.

The Darraj Group launches this event with a ride that includes many cyclists biking towards the Dammam Corniche and the coastal path at speeds that vary between groups of juniors, professionals, and amateur riders.

Mubakeron Ride for Saudi National Day

Mubkron Cycling Group, under the theme “Dreaming and Achieving,” is gearing up for a spirited celebration of Saudi National Day, proudly sponsored by Wheels Store. On Friday, September 15, 2023, the festivities will commence with a lively parade, commencing at 4:45 AM from the Wheels Store in Dammam. The ride’s duration is set for 93 minutes, symbolizing the 93rd Saudi National Day, with cyclists maintaining a brisk pace of 25 to 30 kilometers per hour.

National Day Run with RaceArabia

RaceArabia is gearing up for an enthusiastic celebration of Saudi National Day, sponsored by Wheels Store. On Friday and Saturday, September 22nd and 23rd, a Duathlon race will be held at the King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Riyadh.

Under the theme ‘Dream and Achieve,’ RaceArabia is eagerly looking forward to celebrating Saudi National Day in style, in collaboration with Wheels Store. The Duathlon race presents a unique opportunity for participants to experience a distinct sporting event filled with excitement and competition on this special national occasion. The Duathlon consists of two competitive segments: running and cycling, designed to cater to all fitness levels, even children.

The duathlon race will kick off with a children’s race in two different age categories. For those aged 8 to 10, there’s a 4 km race starting at 7 AM. And for those aged 11 to 14, there’s an 8 km race starting at 8 AM. This will take place on September 22, 2023.

Furthermore, Wheels Store is adding an extra layer of excitement by awarding valuable prizes to the race’s winners. The top three winners will get Trek 820 bikes, as well as free maintenance for the duration of the race. These prizes reflect Wheels Store’s commitment to assisting and motivating participants to achieve exceptional success during this holiday season.
